“What’s his condition?” “… he’s screwed.” just as dumb and fun as I was anticipating. Jason being rescued on accident by a school trip of students is so hilarious, and the addition of future and sci-fi nonsense to his arsenal to still do what he does best makes this an enjoyable ride that I honestly wish there was more of (I did see that there was a comic continuation, go figure.) It sounded like the audio mixing was weird, or there was just an absence of impactful noise at times, and the music was pretty lacking too, which is a shame seeing as Manfredini was still behind it. But the use of practical over cgi for the majority of things still gives this a big up from me. I’m convinced the dude that made the Resident Evil movies saw KM in this and modeled Milla Jovovich’s character after her. “Hey, do you want a beer?” “Or do you wanna smoke some pot?” “Or we can have premarital sex?” “We love premarital sex!” Listen to Unconventional Flicks (https://open.spotify.com/episode/6DMg70uuz6irF8DCaxFyKk?si=9Q5Hmhq9T469-L6zj0YYcg)
