There are too many things to say and I don't think I can put them coherently enough.
The dissection of what can/might/ lead someone to consider causing harm and how it can linger even if the harm wasn't done. Fabricating a sequence of events that can justify even thinking about committing such acts, even if they're not true; because the uncomfortable truth that often times it doesn't take all that much to push people to the worst is very uncomfortable to confront.
Completely brushing past the harm that WAS done because it wasn't as bad as it *could have been.*
