“I love Adam Shankman. and John Waters. RIP Twitch. Such a fun, great movie. All the music and dancing is just so much fun. Ultimate feel-good movie here.”

“I'm sure when this was made it was a very important piece of media, and I do like seeing racists lose. Now I'm boutta say but, which feels very inappropriate, BUT it felt a lil cotton candyish to me. There was an obviously bad thing that gets magically made right and everyone's happy in the end. I think in the media I consume now about standing up for what’s right and fighting bigotry, I want nuance. Real human strength that overcomes real struggle, makes me believe in the ability of people to make a change. This whole movie feels like when John Lennon say some shit like "world peace man, why can't we all just get along", like yea obviously. So I don't personally think it's for me, its fun for a certain mood where you don't want to think to hard. I will forever love queen Latifah though, John Travolta was very funny as well.”
