“Uhhhhh this movie kind of kicked ass?? The acting was the worst part, but I just really didn't care. I thought the story was interesting – we really don't get enough serious American folk horror. The music kicked ass. The sfx and vfx were so much better than I expected. The movie had many just beautiful shots of the Catskills. Crazy this is just a family making movies together. Can't wait to watch Hellbender and I'll definitely be listening to their band.”

“I don’t know if I’d say I LIKED the movie, It did keep me invested throughout, and I think I have a reason that might be. Possibly spoilers when it comes to theme if you are thinking of watching it. It felt like I was being shown the core bits of the human experience in a new and refreshing way, like I was being taught something significant. The whole movie felt like an experiment, which feels like a pretty “on the nose” description. I do think it’s interesting, thats why I’d recommend it, but will you enjoy? Think it depends if that kind of thing interests you.”

“lil stop motion adventure, don't know the original children's story but this version of it with a darker theme is a real treat. Love how the movie uses music and blank stares to communicate emotions.”
